My point was that the TSA security does provide a buffer to keep terrorists from boarding a plan packed with explosives where an armed masrhal is going to be useless.

What, you could not use a laptop?
And how would an iPad only owner read the CD in the 1st place?
Yes the iPad made a nice easy to use picture viewer once you had put the images on it from your real computer at home is what you are saying.
You could just of easy taken a laptop which read the CD images off directly onto the screen and no needed this new device whatsoever.

I thought it was brilliant. Kanye West released "Late Registration" last week and sold around 860,000 copies to debut at #1 on Billboard so it was perfect timing on both sides to have him perform. He's hot and he's hip, which sounds like a certain computer company we know and love.

Then, a handful of television talk shows later, West generated national headlines thanks to his appearance on NBC's "A Concert for Hurricane Relief" this past Friday, where he delivered a scathing assessment of President Bush for his response to the devastation and ruin wrought by Hurricane Katrina.
The last week's been quite a doozy for Kanye (see "T.I., David Banner Get Behind Kanye's Bush Comments"), but one that'll be capped off by a crowning achievement: West's sophomore album, Late Registration, opens at #1 on next week's Billboard albums chart, having sold more than 860,000 copies during its first week on shelves. Kanye's debut LP, The College Dropout, entered the chart at #2 the week after it was released in early with first-week scans of close to 441,000.

ok look a this.
it dont have 3 g
it dont have mms
you cant send messages to more then one at a time.
you cant drag over music in itunes you have to put it on list who must syncronise(not the biggest problem)
it is not possible to download contacts from sim
its more difficult to call,set up contacts and so on compare to sony/nokia
you cant connect to more then one computer(apple think youre a thief if you do?)
But idoes haves it ups but all in all i think it sucks(i not you)..he,he
So hopefully the next iphone will fix some of this problem ergo the statement...

It seems that there are people that genuinely dislike Apple products and label anyone who purchases one as stuck up or a fanboy, which is so silly. This is my own personal experience and obviously doesn't apply to everyone.

Interesting that the original post in this thread states that it is indeed an LTE Verizon iPhone. That seems to coincide with the video of the parts that were leaked on youtube a couple days ago, showing a sim card slot on the new phone. I think I read somewhere that LTE phones require a sim card, and also, LTE is capable of simultaneous voice/data. The stars seem to be aligning.

Nice theory there, but out here in California, Pacific Standard Time, that wouldn't make a bit of sense as the time for the posting of the keynote.

Sorry, during which year of medical school do doctors receive gun safety training? How many hours of coursework on home safety do they complete? The typical MD is no more qualified to discuss these matters than any bozo on the street with more than an ounce of common sense. If they really want to help their patients child-proof their homes effectively, providing a helpful checklist would far more effective than interrogating parents.

a nice iPod Video with NEF/RAW reading capability for us photographers, I'm a waiting customer. And yes, a smaller MacBook with 10 hour battery life, non-reflective screen and a graphics card to use it with Aperture/RAW would be sooo nice... :)

FFA was the only multiplayer mode worth playing in MW2. The rest sucked. Honestly Infinity Ward lost the plot after CoD 2 since then they have been well below par.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree... The objective games in MW2 are great IMHO. Black Ops looks and feels ***** in comparison.

It is your incessant need to come into any and EVERY thread about their competition just to bash and mud-sling that gets old and makes people hate you. I like Android, but you don't see me going into every single thread on MR about the iPhone bashing it and spreading FUD because of that.
You don't like Windows, MS, Android, Google, RIM, etc, and think Apple is way better. We get it. How about you make a new thread. It could be ["Things I hate" by *LTD*], where you talk ALL about the things that bug you with the competition, and why Apple's version of everything is so much better. It is quite a bit different actually. Your home Internet service does not likely limit you to a single device. It is however likely limiting you to your house. If you start hooking up the whole neighborhood through your home Internet connection, they would be well within their rights to charge you more money.

I don't see any changes. Even in beta, they supported 1.25 GHz PowerBooks and up. How well they support them is always the question.
